Referral Process
Our referral process provides a quick and safe way for referring agencies to refer clients to food bank. Below is a form to complete which allows us to gather the information we need to continue the process.
The new process increases efficiency by allowing referring agencies to quickly complete this step without the need for a phone call or email conversation.
Once you have made your referral you will receive an automatic acknowledgement via the email address you give us. Upon receipt you can tell the client to attend the next available session. You will only be contacted by phone if there is an issue with the referral.
Who can refer someone to food bank?
We work with lots of professional organisations who refer clients to us. All clients attending food bank must have a referral.
If you need a referral, you can contact, for example, your housing association, GP, support worker, nursery, playgroup, school or church leader, and if none of these apply, you can call Telford Crisis Support on 01952 586646
If you are in need of support and have not been referred to us by an agency or GP, you can contact us for advice on how you may be able to get a referral.
